Assisted Living Accommodations

Assisted Living is a residential setting that encourages independence, focusing on the resident's strengths to reach their individual potential. We offer three levels of care for assisted living and also offer a secured memory care. The level of care is based on the activities of daily living for the resident. Each level of care is offered to assist the resident with the amount of assistance they may require.

For those who do require additional help, our on-site staff is available 24-hours a day to assist with needs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, personal hygiene, etc. The facility offers a variety of most special diets. Monitoring meals and medications assures that everyone is eating the proper diet and receiving their medications at the appropriate time and amount. Scheduled transportation is available for trips to the doctor’s offices, local retail stores, and field trips.

Senior Living Care Levels

As above, these levels of care also apply to the residents who require memory care (Bishop Hall). Bishop Hall at our Canton location provides residents with an intimate living room, dining room, private bed rooms and outdoor courtyard. All of the areas in Bishop Hall are secured. At Cameron Hall, we help promote independence and encourage the quality of life during one's progression of dementia.

With any level of care, it is very important that there is communication between Cameron Hall, the resident, and their family. We encourage family involvement and look forward to making this experience for you and your loved one a positive one.

Respite Care

Respite Care is provided for guests who require short-term stay with 24-hour supervision. Respite Care allows families or caretakers to take time off for vacations, handle other family tasks, temporary or occasional time off, etc. and gives the family peace of mind that their loved one is cared for properly.

Personal care services are provided as part of the program for a daily fee and include medication supervision, assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, routine room checks, laundry, housekeeping, 3 meals served daily and assistance with other daily living activities as needed. A personal assessment is scheduled with our Resident Wellness Director to best understand and serve our Respite Care resident's needs.

Deposit

In order to reserve a room or to place your name on our waiting list a $750.00 deposit is required as well as the completed Pre-Application. The $750.00 deposit covers the refurbishing of the room to it's original status when a resident moves outs. The admission fee is non-refundable once the resident moves in, but will be returned to the family/guardian or resident if admission does not take place. The admission does not apply towards the first month's rent and is not deposited until the resident moves into Cameron Hall.

Senior Living Activities

A variety of social, educational and recreational activity programs are set up to encourage residents to interact with each other and the community. The programs are designed to meet the needs of each person individually or as a group. From a movie and popcorn on Friday night, dances, games, and educational classes, there will be something there for everyone. Enjoying time with life-long friends or new neighbors, Cameron Hall will allow you to socialize or enjoy the privacy of one’s own room whenever desired.
